If you’re looking to work as a freelance photographer, then you’ll most likely find more work locally to yourself than online, but sometimes the person requiring the photography has no local contacts themselves, or wants images that can’t be taken where they live, so they’ll post for freelance photographers to fulfill their needs.

Increasingly, websites and blogs require more and more photos – whether somebody’s putting an entire product line into an online store, or somebody’s creating a new website for a client, they’ll want photos. Good photos and lots of photos. Freelance photographers are hired to take those photos for them.
