I have given freelancing some thougt. But, I have no idea what site to join. I tried Elance but havent had much success competing with people who have a reputation on there.
any suggestions.

I’ve seen people have a lot of success with the freelance jobs from here. The way to do it is to apply for as many as you can – it’s a numbers game – and look at the applications of others, make your application a bit more appealing; perhaps check out the applications of people who have won the jobs and see if you can learn lessons from their wording or detail.
